You’ll play against the computer, so you’ll have all the time you need to think through your moves, analyze the board, and decide which pieces to use. The game takes place on a classic 64-square board with alternating dark and light colors. Each player starts with 16 pieces, each with its own unique way of moving around the board. For example, the king can move one square in any direction, while the queen can move along straight lines in any direction she chooses!
The main goal of the game is to checkmate your opponent’s king, which means you need to come up with a clever strategy to attack their king so it can’t escape. If you’re not sure what to do next, don’t worry! You can always press the hint button for a little guidance.
